Yesterday afternoon, March 30, Forum Estates successfully completed the 11th capital increase at civil-law notaries Ghesquière and Degryse. A number of existing and new shareholders contributed approximately EUR 8 million in additional capital.
Following the recent sale of a number of non-strategic properties, which will generate an additional net cash-in of approximately EUR 2 million in April, this capital increase is sufficient to finance the planned strategic investment programme. This capital will be used to purchase supermarket real estate worth around EUR 20 million in the coming months.
Depending on the available projects and the economic situation, the 12th round of financing can be carried out in the autumn. Forum Estates has the ambition to grow further in the coming years into a supermarket fund with a real estate value of EUR 500 million.
